The last, tenth, bilateral initiative is the project implemented by Faculty of Transportation Sciences of the Czech Technical University.

The Minister of the Ministry of the Environment of the Czech Republic approved support for the tenth bilateral initiative under the Environment, Ecosystems and Climate Change Programme. Support was granted to the following bilateral initiative:

Building bilateral research network towards resilient, smart and sustainable cities and regions

This initiative aims at developing and improving research cooperation between the Faculty of Science and Technology of the University of Stavanger (FST UoS) and the Faculty of Transportation Sciences of the Czech Technical University (FTS CTU) in Prague. The main focus of the bilateral cooperation will be the exchange and broadening of the knowledge about planning in the context of smart, sustainable and resilient cities. A particular emphasis will be given to climate change mitigation and adaptation policies, strategies (including risk management ones), technologies and measures in the context of transport infrastructure and operations at the local and regional level in both countries.

The funds from our „Trolltunga Call“ are currently exhausted and the Call is closed. We are preparing to announce the second round of the Call. For current information, follow our website.
